Heritage Royalty (Heritage) holds mineral title (oil, gas & other minerals) and royalty interests in oil and gas production across large areas of western Canada’s three Prairie provinces (Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba).

Heritage’s holdings comprise approximately 4.8 million acres of mineral lands held in perpetuity as well as royalties on approximately 150,000 barrels of oil equivalent (boe) per day of production. Heritage’s royalty production is approximately 12,000 to 13,000 boe per day (at January, 2018).

Heritage is 100 percent owned by the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP).
